During our homeroom subjects today, here's what we did:

Language Arts/Reading - began the first draft of a persuasion letter, practiced Predicting What Happens Next (Cafe Menu) when reading, and used irregular plural nouns. 

Social Studies - distinguished between weather and climate

Math - students presented their graphs and then made questions about the graph to help review the chapter and prepare for tomorrow's quiz

Science - began the final project for unit two. Students will be working in small groups and making a straw tower that needs to hold books. 

1) LA - irregular plural noun spelling sentences - please choose an irregular noun from the table below, make it plural, and use it in a sentence with one of your spelling words. 
Example: I saw children running up a mountain.

2) Math booklet p. 37

- Math quiz tomorrow
- Fire Department visit is tomorrow, and it is also Spirit Day, so please remember to wear anything orange, red, or yellow. The class with the most participation will win a prize!!  Also, you can bring your PE uniforms in a bag if you are wearing Spirit colored clothing
- Spelling test on Thursday, please bring your spelling tablets to school
